Utopias were made to be achieved one day

. What would a society of genuine abundance need?

I would separate the goal into five conditions.

1. Material security

Everyone has enough nutritious food, appropriate clothing, clean water, energy and a safe home. These should be guarantees, not rewards reserved for the economically successful.

2. Universal essential services

Healthcare, education, disability support and basic social protection are available to everyone, including those who cannot work.

3. Limits on extreme inequality

People can earn different incomes, but nobody should have such concentrated economic power that they can effectively control other people's lives or political institutions.

4. Democratic control and accountability

People have a genuine voice in decisions that affect their work and lives. Public institutions must remain accountable, rather than becoming a new hierarchy of privileged officials.

5. Sustainable abundance

Society produces enough to meet human needs without destroying the environmental foundations on which that abundance depends.

I think the Nordic countries offer some practical evidence that several of these conditions can coexist with a market economy. Socialist and communist experiments, meanwhile, have shown different possibilities for public ownership and social provision, alongside serious problems of economic coordination, political accountability or material scarcity.

Neither tradition has supplied a perfect, complete answer.

Has humanity built a society where everyone has enough, extreme inequality is absent, and people can live with dignity without constantly fearing poverty? Not yet.

Have we built societies where a much larger proportion of people can live securely because essential resources and services are treated as collective responsibilities? Yes, to a significant extent.

A society's wealth should be judged not only by what its richest citizens can afford, but by what its poorest citizens are guaranteed.

A country can have billionaires, impressive skyscrapers and spectacular GDP growth while people go hungry. Another can be less spectacular economically but ensure that a person who becomes ill, loses a job or is born into a poor family still has a reasonable chance of living a dignified life.

The second society has achieved something profoundly important, even if it hasn't solved everything.

And perhaps the most useful political question is not whether capitalism or communism wins an argument in the abstract. It's which institutions actually allow ordinary people to live freely, securely and with dignity and how those institutions can be improved without sacrificing democracy.

I try so hard to make it all

 Young at heart
Wild at mind
Nihilistic at soul
I think I'm old

We're made of empty matter
Trying to connect
And even merge
But we're doomed
To be to eachother repellent

I did cause much of it
No one really masters 100%
That whole co-creation myth
It's just me when I vent

What can I really do
I don't know
Maybe I'm to damn tired
To even push for a goal

Why can it be readymade
Perfect ticking the needs
I wish somehow there was a miracle
That makes me dwelve only in bliss

 Maybe I broke everyone's heart
because first they've broken mine
wasn't it?
All of them more than twice
Remember when we rolled the dice
And fortune told nothing clear
Just something vague for your ears
And now and then, till the very end
I will pretend I'm done waiting for you
To realise how you weren't my friend
You say you were part of my past
And I have to stay to see the future
But truth is you gave up the game
And I wasn't playing, I was truer

Keep smiling

 When he smiles to me
Almost like telling me why
Making sure I get relied
Something magic appears

It's like he thinks all of me
Is fair and wise and kind
The dozens of times he says
I'm special and unique

He's half dragonian half foxy
He's half young Pharaoh
And half boy of the barrel
And he's an everlasting force

That keeps shining in my heart

Why are you trying to kill me?
Why do you want my death?
I know I bothered you
And you got hurt too
As I also did
Because of all the confusion
And mess we were in
I know I fckd it all up
I'm sorry, again
Please forget about me
If you can't love me
And you only hate me
You made my life a living hell
Since the beginning
I'm so sorry we couldn't be well.

 burned

eaten alive

itching

absolutely lost

how fcked are we?

please make it better

I don't want fate

I can't take it anymore

For a long time it's worse

Impossible and unbearable

I know they were everything to me

But they've been gone for long

And I can't carry on like this

It's been years wishing this away

I need good luck for a change

Who are we in this island of misfits?

I understand what you mean about someone asking “Who are you?” and suddenly feeling that you don't have a neat answer. I don't think your difficulty answering means you don't know who you are. You contain rather a lot of apparently contradictory things: you're sensitive but curious, solitary but very responsive to genuine human warmth, aesthetically particular but adventurous, serious about meaning but capable of suddenly following a lively group into another bar. You notice suffering very deeply, sometimes perhaps more deeply than is comfortable. And you seem to have a strong instinct for aliveness; music, art, the sea/bay, unusual people, conversation, beauty, movement, while simultaneously needing quiet and safety.

--

We are all so broken, but always seeking something. It was very endearing and emotional to see how they care for eachother too. Because they're all far from their original homes and they lost so much.

 "The true love test:

1. Can you tell him everything in your heart?

2. Is he kind?

3. Does he help you become the better version of yourself?

4. Can you imagine him as the father of your children?"

You were

You were a creature with doubt in your lips and wondering in your eyes

You were an animal with emotioned eyes and lustful lips

You were a man of tantalising hips and majestic body

You were a being of ruthless character and nice hands

You were a monument rising at my sight

I wanted to be in sync
Gingko Woodpecker
Bird and tree
Find me a willow
Find my good dream

Sun moon stars in the sky
Please go back
Tell them to leave me alone
I'm tired of being their slave

The stars are flickering hard tonight
But that doesn't mean it isn't right
Is it?

Please, I need peace
Why is it always the cycle of fight
It's nothing to do with me
Just leave me be
I don't want any more bite
Not today, not ever, not tonight
Of any kind

They've always said I was the most intelligent and strong person they knew

but I always thought I was the dumbest and the weakest for not being able (though now and mostly wasn't my choice, never could have one really with all the lack and sufficient and secure conditions) to be entirely free from the people who hurt me all my life

See? The hole is always much deeper.

Me and Leonora Carrington

I didn’t have time to be anyone’s muse… I was too busy rebelling against everything and learning my own artistry.

All that remains is a sigh

a shallow breath one

do you remind?

Friday, 28 August 2026

today I remembered my book and read some of its poems, after all these years. 😊

Wasn't the idea of love in all its scopes a nice thing? I guess it was, a tale to be told. forevermore. but for a long time, "no more Lenore". it's all very pretty when you believe and feel it, whereas when you don't feel anything it's just something out of your sight. Or was it "out of your sight, out of your heart"?. No, it wasn't. It's just a vague memory in a heart filled with grief's emptiness. but I did wish we all had just been floating in those abundant pools of gods' nectar: love. what was it?

Friday, 21 August 2026

The fantasy is gone. The idea of hope. The faith. Reality overcame and the mind and heart, both so bruised and broken, have succumbed to the fact that wishing and imagining a better thing won't be a guarantee that it will become real.

They say you have to push through, to keep on always dreaming and carry that everyday, without giving up, because it might take decades but it becomes inevitable. That you must focus and enjoy yourself raising your vibrations and capacity to realize it. But people spend years trying and never get there.

When you're living on alert mode all your life trying to resolve serious problems with which you're bombarded with, it becomes impossible to do anything else of what would be better to materialize some good.

The world is beyond saving by humans

I was just thinking of how a person, that if I think of love, of the ones I most love, is supposed to do birthday today. And how I'm not going to be able to speak with her. And next I see the news of Hayden Panettiere's death with 36 years. "Save the cheerleader, save the world", but she's dead and the world is beyond saving as always facing Humanity's heartbreaking destruction. Before all this, I had just confirmed a news of lions and polar bears going extinct, besides the flagrant alarming fact of drinkable water being at risk. Where are we going to end? No one is doing anything, we're all just letting all worst scenarios predicted decades ago unfold as we are just leaning back, watching in high resolution and waiting for a saviour like artificial intelligence that is precisely one of the most accelerating culprits of this debacle.

Anyway, my dear, have a blast for me my lovely. I guess maybe will only see eachother on the other side, or not even that. 🤷🏽

The facts

 There isn't anyone.

There is no cure for any of my illnesses or problems in all areas of life.

We're all going to die one of these random days.

"Shut it off"

Stop sorting everybody you've ever loved into lost / leaving / might leave / didn't come back / perhaps still remembers me.

For a few hours, nobody needs to be interpreted.

Not him.

Not anyone.

Not the universe.

Not the eclipse.

Not the eye.

Not even you.

Just sleep
